Founder, Managing Member
Kent is the Founder and Managing Member of DCG. He has extensive public-company Controllership experience, and is highly-skilled in the areas of SEC and Regulatory Reporting, Revenue Recognition, Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance, Process Improvement, and Department Turnarounds.
Kent has served as Corporate Controller for public companies with revenues ranging from $15M to $650M, in a variety of industries including solar, renewable fuels, software and apparel. He has also served as Project Manager on several large year-one Sarbanes-Oxley projects.
Kent began his career in 1995 with Arthur Andersen, as a member of the Enterprise Group, providing auditing and consulting services to middle-market and development-stage companies. He was the Controller of a high-tech software and hardware start-up, before beginning his consulting career in 2001. Kent is a graduate of the University of Maine, a licensed Certified Public Accountant, and a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Institute of Internal Auditors.
